In addition to a fully enclosed and automated sandblast room using synthetic (silica free) sand, Star Granite Company has a full frosting room that uses steel shot as its abrasive. If you have an item too large for either room, we can sandblast outside using our portable air and abrasive tank.

Sandblasting can easily and effectively remove any rust, paint, or corrosive byproduct on your metal part. After sandblasting, your part is ready for primer and a new coat of paint. Be aware that sandblasting does take a layer of metal off of your part. If any section of a metal object is too thin, we may recommend another paint and rust removal technique.
