Corner Posts

Corner posts are normally lettered with the family initial and mark the four corners of a cemetery lot. Although corner posts are not prevalent in newer sections of a cemetery, it is a good idea to add corner posts to your lot if you have several plots or have purchsed ajoining lots. Corner posts are useful in determining how many plots are associated with one monument if the cemetery keeps poor records.

Corner posts can match the color of the main monument or markers or can be of a different color. Corner posts are typically lettered inside a frosted panel with a font that matches the monument.
